Maker To Market - Charged Up!

Maker to Market: Charged Up! is a one-day, virtual experience hosted by Economics Arkansas that will transform your economics and maker teaching practices. Maker to Market blends the growing interest in maker education with the economics behind taking a product to market. You will explore basic circuitry followed by creating a product based on your new found knowledge. You will pitch your product idea and see how it performs in the market of workshop peers. Examples of products might be light-up greeting cards, wearable electronics, etc. Come discover classroom activities that address science and engineering practices as well as economic and entrepreneurial concepts. Fifteen teachers will be selected statewide to participate in this virtual professional development opportunity on June 14 from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
