Arkansas Economics Challenge 2023
What is Econ Challenge:
The National Economics Challenge (NEC) is the country’s only economics competition of its kind for 9-12th grade students. It tests micro and macroeconomic principles as well as knowledge of the world economy. This motivating and fun team learning experience begins with competitions at the state level.
2023 Competition
On March 14, 2023, students from around the state joined us at the University of Central Arkansas College of Business to compete across a variety of categories; they completed an economics exam, developed presentations, and presented their work to university faculty judges. Top performing students were awarded medallions and cash prizes, and the overall winning teams will be moving on to compete in later stages of Econ Challenge.
